The sales volume of commercial products of PJSC KuibyshevAzot for nine months of 2018 amounted 44 billion rubles, which is 42 % more than the result of the corresponding period of the previous year. Net profit totaled 5.1 billion rubles (2.2 billion rubles in 2017). The growth of financial indicators was due to the increase in main product sales volumes, as well as favorable market conditions.

In comparison with the indicators for the same period in 2017, the main product output was:
- ammonia –  847.0 thousand tons (206.0%) (together with the output of JV Linde Azot Togliatti LLC);
- mineral fertilizers in terms of 100% nitrogen – 373.1 thousand tons (113.0 %), including:
ammonium nitrate – 467.3 thousand tons (103.8%);
urea –  271.7 thousand tons (126.7%);
ammonium sulphate – 408.8 thousand tons (114.2%);
- caprolactam –  161.1 thousand tons (113.4%);
- polyamide-6 – 113.6 thousand tons (104.1 %);
- industrial yarn – 3.9 thousand tons (44.5%);
- cord fabric – 2.7 thousand tons (114,.8%)
- dipped cord fabric – 13.7 million linear meters (114.0%).

The decrease of the industrial yarn production volume is connected with the redesign of the plant.

In July, a modern high-tech ammonia production was officially opened on the industrial site of PJSC KuibyshevAzot. The production was built as part of joint venture of PJSC KuibyshevAzot and Linde Group (Germany), one of the world’s largest companies in the field of industrial gases and engineering. The capacity of new production is 1340 tons/day for ammonia, and 8000 m3/h for hydrogen. The use of unique technology LACTM allows to ensure environmentally friendly and safe production, where the level of resource consumption corresponds to the best world analogues.

The Company carried out a significant amount of work to reduce its environmental impact. As a part of this work, the construction of storm water sewage treatment facilities for enterprises of the Northern industrial unit and part of Central District of Togliatti has been continued. This project provides for the treatment of sewages at the level of up-to-date sanitary requirements, which will positively affect the state of water in the Saratov water storage basin (the Volga river), and the ecology of the region as a whole.

A number of investment projects are at the implementation stage. In particular, the construction of the ammonium sulphate-nitrate production is about to be completed, the construction of the second nitric acid line has begun, and for a number of other productions the design, survey, and preparatory works are in progress.

All the above projects are aimed at ensuring the prospective development of PJSC KuibyshevAzot, reducing the consumption of raw materials, heat and energy resources, reducing the production impact on the environment, and maintaining the Company’s market position in the context of increasing competition.
