Titan-Polymer has Сoncluded Contract on Supply of the Equipment for BOPET-Film Production

Titan-Polymer has Сoncluded Contract on Supply of the Equipment for BOPET-Film Production

German company Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik GmbH will be the supplier of cutting machines for biaxial-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) film rolls.

The contract assumes the supply of 5 machine units, intended for slitting of BOPET film rolls according to a specified width and diameter, as well as cutting of masking roll edges generated during metallizing process.

Kampf equipment will be an addition to two process lines on BOPET film production.

Let us remind that the main supplier of the equipment is the company Dornier (Germany). The process line will be composed of 10 main section components, including raw materials storage and handling, dosing, extrusion, cast formation and cooling, slit and cross cut orientation, BOPET film output and treatment, automatic winding, and others. All the equipment is fully-automated and is notable for a high energy performance.

Films process wastes, generated during winding and cutting, are subject to secondary processing in granulator. Further, it will be used both in own production under recycling scheme for BOPET film production, and for the production of technical purpose products, construction materials, packaging tape, in compound production, etc.

Dornier company has implemented above 160 similar complex projects on manufacturing, supply, assembling and launch of biaxial-oriented film production lines.

Currently, work on conclusion of contracts with manufacturers ofsystems forautomated transportation, screening and packaging of rolls is also underway.

It should be noted that in August there was meeting of the Expert advisory body of industrial-production type SEZ «Moglino», members of which approved the project «Pskov plant «Titan-Polymer». In the meantime, the head of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, gave to Mikhail Sutyaginskiy, the chairman of the Board of Directors of GC «Titan»JSC, a symbolic key to the future plant in the special economic zone.

Pskov plant «Titan-Polymer Ltd. was registered on February 14, 2018, in order to implement the project of import-substituting polymers production. Process units for the production of polyether (PET pellets, polyester) and products from them (BOPET films) will be the base of production facility.
