Essex, Vermont based Huber + Suhner, Inc. has recently committed to expanding its Mexican manufacturing operations at The Offshore Group's Bella Vista Industrial Park in Empalme, Sonora.
The company currently occupies 20,000 square feet of industrial real estate, but will soon bring 82,000 square feet of manufacturing space on-line. This represents an increase in production space of over 60,000 square feet. At present, Huber Suhner's Empalme, Sonora plant employs approximately 275 workers. When the new buildings' production capacity becomes functional, the company's workforce will increase to over 500.
Huber + Suhner, Inc., of Essex Junction, Vermont, is the North American subsidiary of Switzerland's Huber + Suhner AG. Vangtel offers Mexico shelter services to companies that occupy the call center, IT development and BPO markets, while the International Logistic Solutions Company (ILS) is a leading provider of supply chain services.
