Cytec Announces Price Increase for CYMEL®, CYREZ®, MELMAC®, BECKAMINE® and UFORMITE® Aminoplast Resins in the Americas

Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT), and its affiliated companies, announce a selling price increase on CYMEL, CYREZ , MELMAC, BECKAMINE and UFORMITE aminoplast resins sold in the Americas. The increase will be $0.10/lb and will be effective for shipments on or after September 15, 2010 or as contracts allow. 

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material and freight costs.
