All the Aromas of Synthesis. Benzene Production in the CISBenzine is actually the most abundant aromatic compound and one of the most common petrochemical products. The aromatic hydrocarbons derived from benzene make up 30% of the physical weight of plastics, 66% of rubber’s weight, and 80% of synthetic fibre’s weight. For the past several years, the CIS countries have been manufacturing approximately 1,570,000 tonnes benzene altogether, with Russia accounting for the bulk of the volume. The rest of the CIS countries produce less than 25% of the overall output. Benzene is usually synthesised by oil refining plants (petroleum benzene), metallurgic and coke plants (coal naphtha). Its production output is increased chiefly due to the expanded production of petrochemical companies.
