PVC 2007

     On 28 November, the IV International Conference PVC 2007 took place in Baltschug Kempinsky Moscow hotel, organised by Creon CJSC and supported by RusVinil Ltd, Chimneftetrade Ltd, and Harriman Chemsult Ltd. The conference gathered more than 250 national and foreign PVC manufacturers, key producers, regulating authorities, traders, equipment suppliers, and recognised experts. It was pointed out that by 2010, Asia’s share in the world PVC market will raise to 74%, from which 67% will be held by China. The rest 26% will be distributed among Europe (11%), Middle East (6%) and other countries (9%). At the same time, global PVC capacities are projected to expand to 60m tonnes, which is twice as high as in 2000. Key reports were focused on the global PVC market, PVC production in Russia, import tariffs for PVC in Russia, and other.
