The IV International Conference Polycarbonate 2007

     The IV international conference “Polycarbonate 2007” organised by the consulting company Creon CJSC was held at the hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow on 10 October. About 60 representatives of the largest Russian and foreign companies that mainly produce and distribute polycarbonate sheets in the Russian market attended the conference. Politec Polimeri Technici S.A., Polygal Plastics Industries Ltd, Honam Petrochemical, Sabic Innovative Plastics, Mitsui Corporation, Teijin Ltd, Antey-Alliance Ltd, KMS-M Group, Coros Ltd, Kronos Group, Plastik-Alyance, Polialt Ltd, Carboglass CJSC, Rustechnoproject Ltd were among the participants. Besides, the companies from the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazanorgsintez JSC and Safplast Ltd, which are only planning to enter this market, took part in the event. A lot of the participants suggested an idea of creating a single organisation which will coordinate the work of all the players in the polycarbonate market. That is why the end of the conference featured a round-table discussion devoted to the establishment of the association of PC producers in Russia.
