The pricing trends in the Ukrainian market for carbamide in H1, 2007

The article examines the dynamics of carbamide production in Ukraine, the changes in exports, the cause and effect relations between the world trends and the pricing policy of the Ukrainian urea producers. The article analyses correlation between the urea prices and the world demand for carbamide, dynamics of indication prices and changes in the prices of carbamide in January-June 2007. Carbamide is interesting as a product that can be traded at exchange. Moreover, in context of possible WTO accession, the Ukrainian companies may boost carbamide exports to the the markets of the EU and North America.
