К 2013: Flagship Event in Plastics Industry

K 2013, the global largest exhibition in the field of polymers and rubbers took place in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 16 to 23 October, 2013. As always, the forum became a reliable barometer of the newest trends and innovations for the entire industry of polymer materials. This year the trade fair showed the latest results of researches into plastics and rubbers, newest innovative products and technologies for their production and treatment, design methods and basic trends in the industry.This year 3100 exhibitors from different countries took part in the trade fair. Russia was represented by 17 companies, including Omsk Carbon Group, TAU Neftekhim, Synthez-Kauchuk JSC, Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC, R & D Enterprise Polyplastic. The stand of Omsk Carbon Group displayed electrically conductive grades of technical carbon black. TAU Neftekhim, Synthez-Kauchuk JSC and Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC displayed such grades of synthetic rubbers as SKI-5PM, SKI-5 and others. OSV Technologiya was the only company representing Ukraine; it showed two new units – a mixing and dosing high-pressure machine OSV H40 and a compact mixing and casting machine OSV Mini Pneumatica.
