Belarus to Build Potash Fertiliser Plant in Laos

Belarus, one of the biggest KCL producers globally, can provide its assistance and expertise to Lao People’s Democratic Republic in building a potassium chloride plant in Laos. The latter possesses abundant potassium salt resources, and has already started some projects in this sphere. Sinohydro Mining Co (Lao) Ltd has a project for a 120,000 tpy KCl operation with a 30-year life, using solution mining techniques. At the same time, Belarus has unique experience in the field of KCl production. In other words, the two countries seem to be ideal partners. Will the collaboration between the two countries be fruitful?
