Russian Glycerol Production in 2012

In Russia, there are several producers of glycerol: Nefis Cosmetics JSC, the Kazan Chemical Integrated Works named after M. Vakhitov JSC, Nevskaya Cosmetika JSC and Aist CJSC, and Svoboda JSC. In 2012, the domestic output of glycerol in 2012 amounted to 3,389 tonnes, which represents a 26% YOY decrease as compared to 2011, when it made up 4,582 tonnes.
