The Russian Polypropylene Market: Waiting for Polypropylene Revolution

The Russian polypropylene (PP) market is among the emerging ones, however, it has been developing actively recently. On the one hand, it is close to saturation point, and now its growth rates are going down. It can be said that Russian producers satisfy most domestic PP demand, and the 2012 data of the Russian market confirm it. The total Russian output of polypropylene for the whole 2012 made up 661,223 tonnes against the 2011 figure of 682,040 tonnes.
