Russian oil giant Rosneft OJSC implements a number of projects at its refineries, of which the largest is the reconstruction of a refinery in the Tuapse region. Rosneft is building cutting-edge production at its refinery’s site. Investments in the project make up RUR 245.5bn (USD 7.8bn).

The Tuapse Refinery in the Krasnodar region has been part of Rosneft since the company’s establishment, and is the oldest Rosneft’s refinery (commissioned in 1929). The plant has the most favourable location among Rosneft’s oil pocessing plants, and is also the only Russian refinery on the Black Sea coast.
