Global Potassium Chloride Market in 2012-13 Seen from CIS![]() The global potash market in 2012 was characterised by several factors: higher inventory levels that challenged the potash market over the first quarter, unfavourable weather conditions in many regions of the world, and continued macroeconomic volatility throughout 2012. Uralkali, one of the world’s largest potash producers during Q1, 2013 produced 2.08m tonnes of potassium chloride, representing a 8% year-on-year increase.
