Review of World’s Polypropylene Production and Market![]() Polypropylene (PP) ranks the second most widely spread polymer. The CIS countries account for 36% of the total polypropylene capacity of the Central and Eastern Europe. In 2010, the total polypropylene output in Russia amounted to 628,000 tonnes, up 5.6% as compared to 2009. According to forecasts, in 2015, the manufacture of polypropylene in Russia will reach 1.14m tonnes, which is 1.8 times higher than in 2010.
