Production of Polymer Sheets in Russia

     We are presently seeing a new trend; a growth in demand for plastic sheets is outpacing consumption by 1.5 times, boosting import sales to Russia. The last two years were basically characterised by diminishing imports that were being pushed out by domestic products, as modern extrusion lines for plastic sheets have been introduced into the manufacturing facilities. However, the segment is presently import-dependent as existent feedstock and processing capacities are not able to meet the growing demand of the developing market.
