Production of mineral fertilisers in Ukraine went down in August, 2013. Ukrainian enterprises produced only 155,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate. Ammophos production in Ukraine decreased by 17.1% . Production of UAN (water solution of urea and ammonium nitrate) reduced by 15.5%. Generally the country's fertiliser sector seems to suffer an obvious decline.
