Global and CIS Production of Xylene Isomers

The 2010, world production of xylenes, both pure and mixed isomers, made up around 44m tonnes. The xylene consumption increased by 10.6% from 2009 and fixed approximately on a level with the production. Experts expect the global demand to grow by 4.4% per year from 2011 to 2015 and by 3.2% from 2015 to 2020.
